About the airport
Girona-Costa Brava Airport is in Vilobí d’Onyar, about 12 km south of Girona and about 90 km north of Barcelona. It is the gateway to the Costa Brava and, thanks to low-cost airlines, also an alternative way to fly to Barcelona.

It has a single terminal, with arrivals and departures in the same building. Most flights are operated by Ryanair and other low-cost airlines, with many more routes in summer than in winter.
