About the airport
La Gomera Airport, opened in 1999, is the newest in the Canary Islands. It lies in the south of the island, in the municipality of Alajeró, next to Playa de Santiago and about 34 km by road from San Sebastián, the capital. Many visitors also arrive by ferry from Tenerife.
Terminal
The airport has a single passenger terminal, small and quiet. It handles inter-island flights to other Canary Islands, with little traffic throughout the day.

Getting to the city
Guagua Gomera (líneas 6 y 7)
Line 7 goes to San Sebastián de La Gomera and line 6 to Valle Gran Rey. They leave when flights arrive.

Signposted rank outside the terminal. Playa de Santiago is very close; San Sebastián is about 34 km away.
