Tan Son Nhat International Airport, in Ho Chi Minh City itself, is Vietnam’s busiest airport and unusually close to the city centre.
Terminals
Handles domestic flights, with check-in halls, shops and food courts. A separate building for international flights, including a newer terminal (T3) opened to ease congestion.
Services
City bus routes link the airport with central Ho Chi Minh City, though they can be slow in traffic. Metered taxis and Grab are available outside the terminals; the centre is only about 7 km away but traffic can make it slow.
