About the airport
Weeze Airport sits in the Lower Rhine region, close to the Dutch border, on the former RAF Laarbruch air base. Although sometimes marketed as “Düsseldorf Weeze”, it is about 70-80 km from Düsseldorf: allow well over an hour to get there. It is a low-cost airport, with Ryanair as its main airline.
Terminal
There is a single, simple one-level passenger terminal with quick formalities. It also draws many Dutch travellers from the Nijmegen and Venlo area.

Local bus between the terminal and Weeze railway station, in about 10-15 min.
RE10 Niers-Express

Taxi
Rank outside the terminal. Handy for Weeze, Kevelaer or Goch; Düsseldorf is a long and expensive ride.
