Airport · Douglas, Isle of Man
12 km from central Douglas. Live flights, getting to town, car rental and where to stay.
Isle of Man Airport, also known as Ronaldsway, is in the south of the island, near Castletown and about 16 km from Douglas, the capital. The Isle of Man is a British Crown Dependency with its own government, and the airport is its main way in, with flights to several airports in the UK and Ireland.
It has a single terminal, with departures and arrivals in the same building. It is small and easy to get around, and traffic rises during the TT races weeks, in late May and early June.
The terminal has a café, a shop and car rental desks. There are buses and taxis to Douglas and Castletown; during the TT weeks it is worth booking ahead.

Bus Vannin, the island's public bus network, has services that pass the airport and link it with Castletown and Douglas. It is worth checking the timetables.
Taxi rank outside the terminal. Douglas is about 20 min away by road.
