About the airport
Warsaw Modlin Airport sits on the former Modlin military airfield, next to Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, about 35 km north-west of Warsaw. It opened for civil flights in 2012 and is used mainly by low-cost airlines, including Ryanair.
Terminals
There is a single small terminal, with arrivals and departures in the same building. Walking distances are short and boarding is usually quick.

You’ll find cafés, a few shops, free wifi and car rental. Direct buses and rail connections run to Warsaw; the city is far away, so allow roughly an hour for the journey.

Autobús a Varsovia
There are direct buses between the airport and Warsaw, such as those run by Modlinbus. The journey takes about an hour depending on traffic.
Tren (Koleje Mazowieckie)
Koleje Mazowieckie runs trains between Warsaw and the Modlin area. Check before you travel how the station connects to the terminal, as a shuttle bus may be needed.

Rank next to the terminal. Warsaw is about 35 km away, so the ride is long and costly compared with other options. Agree or check the fare before you get in.
