About the airport
Băneasa Aurel Vlaicu Airport is about 8 km north of central Bucharest and is the capital’s second airport after Henri Coandă (OTP). In recent years it has again received scheduled flights, mainly from low-cost airlines such as Wizz Air and Ryanair.
