About the airport

Åre Östersund Airport is on the island of Frösön, about 11 km west of Östersund and about 94 km east of the Åre ski resort. It is the main airport of Jämtland, with regular flights to Stockholm Arlanda and extra seasonal routes in winter, when many skiers fly in.
