Kiruna, Sweden
Kiruna is Sweden's northernmost town, in Swedish Lapland, a mining town that grew up around the iron ore mine, with northern lights, the midnight sun and the Icehotel nearby; its centre is being moved because of the mining.
Kiruna airport is about 6 km from central Kiruna.
Local buses link the airport with the town centre. Check the timetable, as departures may be limited.
Taxis wait outside arrivals. In smaller towns it is best to book in advance.
