About the airport

Horta Airport is in Castelo Branco, about 10 km southwest of the town of Horta, on Faial island in the Azores. Opened in 1971 and renovated in 2001, it is the island’s gateway and a key link to the neighbouring islands of Pico and São Jorge. It is run by ANA, part of VINCI Airports.

Terminal

It has a single passenger terminal, small and easy to get around. It offers flights to Lisbon and to other Azores islands, with SATA as the main operator of inter-island links.
