About the airport

Zhukovsky Airport is about 36 km south-east of central Moscow. It is the newest of Moscow’s airports: it opened to passenger traffic in 2016 and lies in Moscow Oblast, next to the town of Zhukovsky. Since 2022, operations at many Russian airports have been subject to airspace restrictions and temporary closures: the routes available depend on the restrictions in force, so check with your airline before travelling.

Terminals

It has a single passenger terminal, with arrivals and departures in the same building, so walking distances are short.

Services

The airport is small and offers few services: a café, a shop or two and information desks. There is no railway station at the airport itself: you get to the city by bus or taxi.
