About the airport

Volgograd International Airport, known as Gumrak after the nearby settlement, is about 15 km north-west of the city centre. It has a new terminal building from 2018. Since 2022, operations at many Russian airports have been subject to airspace restrictions and temporary closures: the routes available depend on the restrictions in force, so check with your airline before travelling.
