Dara Sakor International Airport DSY

Dara Sakor International Airport is in Botum Sakor district, in Koh Kong province, on Cambodia’s south-west coast. It is a new airport, built by a Chinese developer with an investment of around 200 million dollars, and completed in 2024. It has a runway of about 3,200 m, able to take large aircraft, but real traffic is minimal.

Terminals

There is a single small terminal for arrivals and departures, much smaller than the size of the runway suggests.

Airlines and destinations

According to the sources consulted, since 2025 Air Cambodia and Cambodia Airways operate domestic flights to Phnom Penh. The start has been slow and delayed, so check that your flight is still scheduled before booking accommodation.

Services

We found no reliable information on shops, ATMs or currency exchange, and it is safest to assume there are none. Bring cash, water and whatever you need, and sort out the rest at your accommodation.

Tips

The airport is in a very isolated area, so book your transfer in advance with your accommodation or a taxi and confirm the pick-up time. With so few frequencies, a delay or cancellation can leave you without alternatives for several days; allow some margin if you have connections.
