About the airport

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) (IEV) is the airport of Kyiv, about 6 km from the city centre. Before the war it was Kyiv’s second airport, inside the city itself, used mainly for short-haul and domestic flights. Since 24 February 2022, following the Russian invasion, Ukrainian airspace has been closed to civil aviation: the airport is closed to civilian flights and there is no flight schedule. This guide describes the airport as it operated before the war.
