Kharkiv International Airport (HRK) is the airport of Kharkiv, about 9 km from the city centre. Before the war it was the airport of Ukraine’s second-largest city, with domestic flights and services to several destinations in Europe and the Middle East. Since 24 February 2022, following the Russian invasion, Ukrainian airspace has been closed to civil aviation: the airport is closed to civilian flights and there is no flight schedule. This guide describes the airport as it operated before the war.
