About the airport
Uzhhorod Airport (UDJ, UKLU) is in the westernmost part of the city, with its runway about 90 metres from the Slovak border. Before the war it was a regional airport serving the city and its surroundings. Since 24 February 2022, when Ukrainian airspace was closed to civil aviation because of the Russian invasion, the airport has been closed to civilian flights and there is no schedule.
