Chabahar Konarak International Airport ZBR

Chabahar Konarak Airport (ZBR) lies about 50 km west of the city of Chabahar, in Sistan and Baluchestan province on the Gulf of Oman coast, and serves both Chabahar and Konarak. It is a small regional airport that also has military use; it handled around 222,000 passengers in 2017. It has two runways of 3,000 and 3,814 metres.

There is a single small terminal, with arrivals and departures in the same building.

Airlines and destinations

Iran Air, Mahan Air and Kish Air are among the airlines flying here, with domestic flights to Tehran and other cities. International flights, to destinations such as Muscat, are limited.

Tips

Since the airport is about 50 km from Chabahar, allow for the road transfer time when planning your arrival or departure. Flights are few and schedules change, so confirm yours with the airline. Foreign bank cards generally do not work in Iran, so carry cash.
