Jask Airport JSK

Jask Airport (JSK) serves Jask, a small port town in Hormozgan Province on Iran’s coast of the Gulf of Oman. It is a very small regional airport with a military character: it belongs to Iranian naval aviation and is also used by a few scheduled civilian flights. Its role is to give air access to a coastal area far from the big cities, where road distances are long, and it is used mostly by local travellers and people with business in the region.

Terminals

There is a single small terminal, with arrivals and departures in the same building. There are no transfers between terminals.

Airlines and destinations

According to the sources we checked, Caspian Airlines and Mahan Air fly to Tehran-Mehrabad and Pars Air flies to Shiraz. Flights are few and routes change, so don’t count on many schedule options.

Services

Facilities are basic. Hotels, restaurants and shops are in the town, not at the airport.

Tips

Confirm your flight with the airline before you leave and don’t leave the trip to the airport until the last minute. As it is a military installation, avoid photographing the site.
