Bandar Abbas International Airport BND

Bandar Abbas International Airport (BND) is the main airport of Bandar Abbas, capital of Hormozgan province, about 12 kilometres east of the city on the Strait of Hormuz. By Iranian standards it is a mid-sized airport: two runways of more than 3,400 metres, able to take widebody aircraft such as the Boeing 777, and about 1.3 million passengers in 2017. It is shared with military aviation. Iran Air and Karun Airlines use it as a base.

Terminals

There is a single terminal, with arrivals and departures in the same building. There are no transfers between terminals: you arrive, check in and board in the same place.

Airlines and destinations

Most destinations are domestic, with Tehran and Shiraz among the main ones. On international routes, Wikipedia lists flydubai to Dubai and Caspian Airlines to Sharjah. There are also seasonal Hajj flights to Jeddah and Medina.
