About the airport
Urmia Shahid Bakeri International Airport (OMH) serves Urmia, the capital of West Azerbaijan province in north-western Iran, near Lake Urmia and the borders with Turkey and Iraq. It is a small to medium regional airport with a runway of about 3.2 km. In 2017 it handled around 452,000 passengers.
