Keshod Airport IXK

Keshod Airport lies about 4 km north-east of Keshod in Gujarat, roughly 39 km south-west of Junagadh and 50 km north of Veraval. It was built in the early 1930s by the Nawab of Junagadh and is run by the Airports Authority of India. It had no scheduled flights from October 2000 until services resumed on 12 March 2022 under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme. It is a very small airport: fewer than 5,000 passengers used it in the 2025-26 fiscal year.

Terminals

There is a single small terminal. An expansion project with a new terminal building and a longer runway is under way, with completion expected in early 2027, so facilities may change.

Airlines and destinations

The only airline is Alliance Air, flying to Ahmedabad, Diu, Mumbai and Porbandar. Frequencies are low, so check the operating days carefully before booking.

Tips

It serves the Junagadh area and the Saurashtra coast, including the Veraval region, and is useful if you want to avoid long road journeys from Gujarat’s larger cities. With so little traffic, check your flight in advance and don’t count on a wide range of services inside the terminal.
