About the airport
Jabalpur Airport (JLR) is in Dumna, about 25 km east of the city of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. It is the state’s third-busiest airport by passengers and aircraft movements, and serves an area known for the Marble Rocks of Bhedaghat and nearby parks such as Kanha and Bandhavgarh. Between April 2025 and March 2026 it handled around 515,000 passengers, 31% more than the year before.
Terminals
There is a single new terminal, opened on 10 March 2024, with capacity for around 800 passengers at peak times and three boarding bridges. Arrivals and departures share the same building.
Airlines and destinations
Alliance Air operates a scheduled flight to Kolkata, and IndiGo also flies here. The 2,750 m runway handles narrow-body aircraft such as the Airbus A320 or the Boeing 737.
